Trans and Gender Nonconforming Resources
Cuyamaca supports transgender and gender nonconforming students in multiple ways.
Preferred Name Change
- Request a change to your Canvas preferred name
- Request a change to your official Cuyamaca College name (email the form to Cuyamaca.admissions@gcccd.edu)
Change your Pronouns in Canvas
- After you sign in to Canvas, click the Account button in the global navigation, then choose Settings.
- Click Edit Settings and change your pronouns.
- Click Update Settings to save.
Gender Neutral Bathrooms
Here at Cuyamaca, we are equipped with gender neutral bathrooms to ensure accessibility for our students. See the Campus map for details.
Bathroom Locations:
- H-Building: 1st and 2nd Floor
- I-Building -- Student Center: 1st Floor - Health and Wellness Center and the Student Affairs Office
- D-Building: Inside the Fitness Center
- E-Building: 1st Floor, West Wing
- R-Building
