Steps to Enroll in DSPS
Disabled Students Programs and Services (DSPS) assists students with disabilities
by determining and providing appropriate academic accommodations related to their
disabilities. In order for DSPS to determine a student's eligibility for services and to provide
services, the following steps are recommended.
Step 1 - Apply for Admission
- You have never been a student at Cuyamaca or Grossmont College
- You have not been in attendance at either college for at least two consecutive semesters.
- Visit the Admissions and Records office or Admissions and Records Web page to fill out the application for admission.
Step 2 - Login to Self Service and Complete the following:
- Online Orientation
- Placement Questionaire
- Online Advising (Be sure to keep a copy of your Placement Results)

Step 3 - Submit Verification of Disability to DSPS
It is the responsibility of each student seeking DSPS services to provide disability
verification
(e.g., IEP, 504 Plan, medical documentation, etc.,)
Step 4 - Schedule an DSPS Intake appointment
- DSPS policies and procedures
- Authorized Academic Adjustments
- Advising and Disability Management
Step 5 - Register for and Pay for Classes - Self Service
- Payment is due at the time of registration
- Please note the Payment Deadlines-you can be droped for non-payment
- Payment plan available on Self Service
