ALL of Cuyamaca College's applications and scholarships are here for Cuyamaca College students.  Before YOU APPLY review the APPLICATION EXAMPLE and ask for HELP.

Application Steps:


Step 1 - New Students Sign-Up for - AcademicWorks

New Students please provide your initial information to Cuyamaca & Grossmont ❝AcademicWorksScholarship Portal: Use the email address you use for college and  create your own password. AcademicWorks will request your General Student Information to create scholarship access for YOU!

Step 2 - Returning & New Students Apply

Returning and new students apply to Cuyamaca & Grossmont ❝AcademicWorks❞ General Application use the ❝GENERAL APPLICATION EXAMPLE❞ below to help you apply.

Each scholarship has different requirements, listed ❝below❞ are the various flyers for each scholarship. Select the accordion to view the specific scholarships and the requirements. Then complete the New AcademinsWorks Application.


Cuyamaca College Scholarships Information


Osher Scholarships Information


General Osher Eligibility Requirements: Student must have a current Board of Governors Fee Waiver (BOG) Student must have completed 24 or more ❝degree applicable❞ units Student's progress must be a least satisfactory (2.0 GPA) Student must be enrolled at least half-time (6 or more units) at Cuyamaca College (* Count units taken at each campus use Consortium Agreement)

  • Student must have completed 24 or more ❝degree applicable ❞ units
  • Student's progress must be a least satisfactory ( 2.0 GPA)

Some of the flyers contained below have additional requirements, please review the flyers to have a greater understanding of the types of Osher Scholarship that may be available and their specific requirements. You must complete the Osher Scholarship Application.


California Coast Credit Union Scholarships

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Student must be currently enrolled in at least 9 units at Cuyamaca College
  • Student must have completed a minimum of 12 units at Cuyamaca-Grossmont Colleges
  • Student must have a minimum 3.0 Grade Point Average
  • Must hold a current leadership role in an on-campus or community service organization or have completed a minimum of 25 documented hours of community service in the last 6 months prior to applying.
  • A 500 word essay - Topic: Tell us about an experience where you used your time and talents to help an individual, a group or the community.
  • Two letters of recommendation from faculty or staff at Grossmont-Cuyamaca College or applicant's service organization.

Betty D. Krueger Memorial Scholarships

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Student must be currently enrolled in at least 12 units at Cuyamaca College
  • Student must have a minimum 3.0 Grade Point Average
  • Must complete an essay or video about the value of attending Cuyamaca College.
  • Essay must be 400-500 word essay
  • Video must be between 2-3 minutes in length

Retiree Network Scholarship

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Student must be currently enrolled in at least 9 units at Cuyamaca College
  • Student must have completed 24 units at Grossmont and/or Cuyamaca Colleges
  • Student must have a minimum 3.0 Grade Point Average
  • Student must complete the 500 word essay
  • Plans to transfer to a 4 year university or complete AA/AS or certificate.
