Cooperative Work Experience (WEX 110)

EOPS offers supervised work experience to assist students in acquiring desirable work habits, attitudes, and career awareness.

The top skills employers are looking for include:

  • Communication Skills (verbal and written)
  • Flexibility and the ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Problem Solving/Critical Thinking Skills
  • Multicultural Sensitivity and Awareness
  • Computer Expertise
  • Leadership Ability
  • Research Skills

If you are asking yourself, "How do I gain these skills?" -that is a good question. Work experience allows us to build our skills in the areas listed above.
