Education Code section 68075.6 grants an immediate nonresident tuition exemption to
eligible Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) holders and refugee students who settle in California
upon entering the United States. This exemption is granted for one year from the date
the student settled in California upon entering the US. This exemption applies to
the following:
Low-income California residents may have their fees waived. It is recommended that full-time students budget approximately $750 per semester or $375 for summer for books and supplies.
Students attending both Cuyamaca and Grossmont Colleges pay parking fees on ONE CAMPUS only. Enrollment fees for these students are calculated on a district basis.
