If you are interested in music, in any way, you will find that the Cuyamaca College Performing Arts Department has a lot to offer. The Performing Arts Department offers classes for students with a general interest as well as to those seeking in-depth, individualized study. Cuyamaca College currently offers three AA degrees:
Cuyamaca College is an All-Steinway School — one of only 160 in the world! The Performing Arts Department is home to seven Steinway pianos, including one 9’ concert grand. The department also houses two recording studios, a 24-seat MIDI/piano lab, four ensemble rehearsal rooms, nine individual practice rooms, and a beautiful 364-seat theatre.
The Cuyamaca College Performing Arts Department has wonderful, accomplished, and prestigious
faculty. The faculty covers a wide range of backgrounds and expertise. One thing they
all have in common, however, is a passion for the art form, and a drive to help others
find a similar level of passion for it.
