The Mentor Program at Cuyamaca College pairs students with mentors based on their areas of interest, career goals, and geographical location. Mentors provide advice on coursework, internships, job search, strategies, and professional development opportunities. They also offer insights into industry trends, best practices, and networking opportunities with the ASSP community.
Through regular meetings, communication, and networking events, students are able to gain valuable insights, build relationships, and enhance their skills and knowledge in the field of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS). The mentor program aims to empower students to succeed in their academic and professional pursuits and to become future leaders in EHS industry.
