Sue Mosburg is a Program Manager at Sweetwater Authority with responsibility for the Authority's risk management, employee development, water use efficiency, and school education programs. In this role she develops program goals, implements strategies, oversees activities to address identified and emerging trends, and monitors the effectiveness of program efforts. Sue began her career in the Water/Wastewater Industry in the City of San Diego's Water Department, cleaning boats and assisting fishermen. And, after 30+ years in the industry, she is still helping people catch their dreams. Ask Sue what the best thing about this industry is and she'll probably answer, "the variety!" According to Sue, the career possibilities are endless.
Sue is an active industry and community volunteer and spends much of her free time supporting the Water Conservation Garden, local youth sports and the Cal-Nevada Section of the American Water Works Association -currently serving as the Section's Chair Elect.
She is a certified Water Treatment Operator (T1), Water Distribution Operator (D2) and Water Use Efficiency Practitioner (Grade 1). Ms. Mosburg holds a B.S. in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and an A.A. in Speech Communication from Grossmont College. |
