Cuyamaca College just completed its comprehensive self-evaluation process in support of accreditation reaffirmation. As part of this process, the Accreditation Steering Committee led college-wide efforts to compile the Institutional Self-Evaluation Report (ISER), actionable improvement plans arising from the self-evaluation, and the College's Quality Focus Essay (QFE).

2019 Institutional Self-Evaluation Report (ISER)

 

In addition, executive summaries of the findings from the previous ISER draft (fall 2018) are provided below. These summaries were discussed at the Fall 2018 Accreditation Retreat.

During the Fall 2018 Accreditation Retreat, participants, including faculty, staff, students, and administrators, identified the following projects as priorities for the QFE:

  • Develop a Center for Teaching and Learning
  • Expand Open-Educational Resources/Low-Cost Course Materials

 

Cuyamaca College's Accreditation 2019 Site Visit

As part of the comprehensive evaluation process, the College will undergo a site visit by a peer review team between September 30th and October 3rd, 2019.

Students and members of the public who desire to file a formal complaint to the Commission about one of its member institutions should become familiar with the requirements for doing so prior to contacting the Commission. Complaints Against the Commission

Individuals who wish to file a formal complaint to the Commission about the ACCJC should become familiar with the requirements for doing so prior to contacting the Commission. Third-Party Comments

Individuals who wish to make comments on the institutions that are undergoing review in the current semester and that are being considered by the Commission at its next meeting, should use the Third Party Comments Form and be sure to include their name, address, phone number, and email address.
